As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing and supporting state-of-the-art machines for specialized industries. The position involves regular customer interaction, so a customer-centric attitude and strong service orientation are essential.
Electrical Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
- Developing and optimizing motion control systems and servo drives
- Working with PLC and HMI programming to improve machine functionality
- Supporting web converting and packaging systems
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues
- Engaging with customers to ensure their needs are met and problems are solved with excellence
Electrical Controls Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or machine design
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for electrical schematics
- Motion control/servo experience is a big plus
- Web converting and packaging experience is a plus
- Familiarity with VB programming is a bonus
- Experience with networking and vision systems (laser/vision experience) is advantageous

$90,000-$130,000 per year
