Schedule: Full-time | 80 hours per pay period | Monday‑Friday | 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Location: This position can be based out of our Anoka or West St. Paul office locations.

As a Director of Hospice, you’ll lead with compassion and precision—ensuring that patients and families receive high‑quality, person‑centered care during life’s most meaningful moments. Serving as the Administrator, you’ll guide the strategic direction and daily operations of our hospice agencies, from clinical excellence and compliance to staffing, growth, and community engagement. Your leadership will shape how care is delivered and how trust is built—with heart, dignity, and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Hospice Operations – Provide oversight across strategic planning, budgeting, and day‑to‑day management. Ensure clinical teams are supported, care delivery is seamless, and operations align with Vivie’s mission and business goals.
  • Serve as Regulatory Lead & Administrator – Manage compliance with state, federal, and Medicare hospice regulations. Lead survey readiness, MDH inspections, and OHFC complaint responses while keeping staff informed of key regulatory updates.
  • Grow & Empower Your Team – Hire, develop, and support qualified staff while fostering a culture of compassion, collaboration, and high performance. Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and ensure alignment with education and compliance standards.
  • Advance Quality & Care Improvement – Partner with the Hospice Quality & Education Manager to define benchmarks, monitor performance, and lead initiatives that improve outcomes, efficiency, and care value.
  • Drive Census & Referral Growth – Collaborate with sales and community partners to meet census targets and expand reach. Build relationships with referral sources, respond to service needs, and champion hospice awareness across Vivie’s communities.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory or administrative experience in hospice or home and community‑based care.
  • Deep knowledge of hospice regulations, standards of care, and Medicare compliance.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle.
  • Ability to pass state‑mandated background checks.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, clients, and leaders.
