School Speech Language Pathologist - Anoka, Minnesota

A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school services within a K-12 educational setting. This role is based in Anoka, MN, and offers the opportunity to provide critical speech and language support to students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
Qualifications And Experience
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices for school-based SLP services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to work independently within a contract period spanning a full academic semester
