Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving young learners as an Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist within a dedicated school environment near Blaine, MN. Youll work with an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) caseload of children aged 3-5, providing impactful speech and language interventions that support their growth and communication development. This assignment is anticipated to start on August 25, 2026, continuing through June 10, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license (must be presented with your application)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Experience assessing and supporting the speech and language needs of early childhood or preschool populations, ideally in a school setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
  • Current resume reflecting relevant experience and credentials

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in early childhood students
  • Create and deliver individualized treatment plans and interventions based on student needs
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as a collaborative team member
  • Provide guidance and support to educational staff and families concerning speech and language development
  • Maintain timely and thorough records according to district and state guidelines
