** Position Description
** The Anoka County Information Technology Department’s mission is to align and deliver cost-effective technology strategies and services in partnership with County divisions, departments and offices, other local jurisdictions, and the public. The department has an immediate opening for a Lead End User Support Engineer. We're looking for a hands-on engineer who identifies gaps in our endpoint environment, initiates the work to close them, and leads new technology initiatives that reach every user and device across a co-managed fleet of approximately 2,500 Windows devices, plus Mac and mobile devices.

Some of the critical responsibilities of this position include engineering and administering the County’s Windows endpoint platform; supporting domain, directory, and authentication services; administering Microsoft 365 client applications and services; and providing escalated support for virtual desktop infrastructure.

This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position. Interviews will take place the week of November 9th, 2026, for those selected to move forward in the hiring process.

** Work Location
*** This position will work at Anoka County Government Center, located at 2100 3rd Ave, Anoka, MN 55303.
* This position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work, with some days working remotely and some days working in the office.
* Business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
* This position participates in a rotating on-call schedule, approximately one week every 5 weeks, providing after-hours and weekend support for critical county end user systems.
