Material Handler Coordinator – rms Company

Join the team as a Material Handling Coordinator at rms Company, part of the Cretex Medical family of companies offering contract manufacturing of high‑quality, tight‑tolerance medical implants and components.

Material Handling Summary

The Material Handling Coordinator will issue, saw, and stage raw material, performing routine dimensional and visual inspections of incoming and outgoing materials and parts.

Work Hours

1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and set‑up material saws.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on saw equipment.
  • Inspect parts and raw materials with precision and measuring tools.
  • Issue, pull, and stage material for production.
  • Organize and cycle‑count raw material.
  • Inspect parts and raw materials with XRF analyzer.
  • Process returned material.
  • Operate computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift and other moving equipment.
  • Enter production information into ERP system, 1

    Factory, and spreadsheets in a timely manner.
  • Accurately record and report hours worked.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing PPE when required.
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
  • Read, understand and follow work instructions and company procedures.
  • Understand customer needs and core business markets.
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained and function properly.
  • Participate in required company meetings.
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S).
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.
  • Complete all other work duties as assigned.
  • Work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in data entry and customer service in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with an ERP system software.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Pay Range

USD $18.89 – $26.49 per hour.
