Schedule:

Full Time – 80 hours/pay period – Monday to Friday – 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

This position includes a $1,000 sign on bonus!!!

Job Description

The Plaza by Vivie seeks an experienced Line Cook to prepare resident meals. No late nights!

If you have the skills, experience, and awareness in recipes, portion control, presentation guidelines, and specific therapeutic diets, the Culinary Services team is ready to welcome you!

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Serv Safe certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire
  • At least one year experience as a cook or attending culinary school
  • Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Pleasant, tactful, respectful and professional with residents, family members, healthcare staff and co‑workers
