Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care
    • Implement accurate, safe, patient‑centric anesthetic care.
  • Professional Skill
    • Understand physiological implications, monitor vitals and maintain ASA guideline compliance during anesthesia.
  • Information Management
    • Maintain documentation per hospital and regulatory requirements and safeguard patient information.
  • Quality Management
    • Demonstrate high standards of ethical behavior, professionalism, and patient care commitment.

    • Engage in projects that advance professional competency and quality improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Experience: Preferred clinical experience as a CRNA; none required. Candidates must be eligible to be appointed to the affiliated medical staff.
  • Licensure: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (AANA), Connecticut RN/APRN license, ACLS, DEA registration, and controlled substance registration.

    Sharp concentration, calm under pressure, effective communication with surgeons and patients, and flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, work with lead protection, and navigate patient transport within the facility.
