We’re seeking a part-time Line Cook to join our kitchen team on-site in Ansonia. As a Line Cook at Munch, you’ll play a key role in preparing and executing dishes with consistency, speed, and care. You’ll help maintain our high standards for flavor, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness, while working closely with the team to keep service running smoothly.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Setting up and stocking stations with necessary ingredients and supplies
• Ensuring dishes are presented consistently and attractively
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety in the kitchen
• Assisting with food inventory and prep lists
• Supporting menu development and new ideas as needed
• Collaborating with the kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth operations
• Occasionally working evenings or events as needed to support catering and special functions

• Strong cooking skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
• Experience in food preparation in a professional kitchen preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent required
