We are seeking a talented part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating client payments and billing maintaining financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements including attorney Trust Account accuracy and disbursements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and keeping accurate budget projections.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

• Enter financial data and transactions
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
• Prepare trial balance
• Analyze budgets and other financial information
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Complete required tax forms

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and basic accounting systems
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of and experience with Clio preferred
• willingness to embrace and utilize AI (Claude/Chat GPT)
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
