Banquet Bartender

As a Bartender, you are responsible for beverage control, accurate pouring, and serving products while keeping the bar area clean and organized. You will provide exceptional service aligned with the club’s standards and meet or exceed member expectations, upholding the 3-steps of service at every opportunity.

• Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets

• Deliver high standards of service as outlined in the F&B service training program.
• Assist with the service of food and beverages to members and guests at the bar.
• Know members’ names, greet them promptly, provide a warm and personalized experience.
• Accurately execute member and guest orders and requests in a timely manner.
• Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally, notifying management and practicing service recovery.
• Prepare the bar area for service by setting up bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, ensuring items are stocked and ready at the start of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including regular sanitizing.
• Complete daily assignments and side work to meet club standards, including restocking and refilling supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of the a la carte menu, daily features and specials not on the menu.
• Stock and manage liquor items, pour accurately, and uphold beverage control.
• Know all liquors, beers, and wines available at the club.
• Support fellow employees and contribute to a positive team environment while delivering the 3-steps of service.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
• Stay aware of and participate in team efforts to support club operations.
• Ensure all daily assignments and side work are completed to meet club standards.

• Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Follow all company, club, and department policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in interactions with members, colleagues and staff.
• Follow safe working practices and safety guidelines.
• Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
• Address and resolve challenges using available resources, coordinating with regional and corporate teams as needed.
• Attend daily briefings and participate in required activities to stay informed.
• Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.

• Preferred:
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness.
• Experience in Food & Beverage service.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong commitment to ethical work standards.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Basic bar and wine knowledge, including cocktails and wine varietals.
• Ability to properly open a bottle of wine with a wine tool.

• Standing, walking, and performing physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with potential exposure to dust, fumes or gases.
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Effective communication and adequate visual acuity.

• Attendance requirements as outlined on the weekly schedule.
• Additional hours may be required, including weekends and holidays.
