• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including greeting, eye contact, and courtesy.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups or companion items to customers.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain clean counters, shelves, and merchandising; take inventory and keep records; check in and price merchandise.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandise, and complete resets as directed.
• Assist with food item separation and stock rotation using FIFO methods.
• Perform store system and equipment operations.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo, poster print, and creative machine services.
• Assume web‑pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders, pick items, and deliver to arriving customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean store appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Attend training and complete Performance Planning Level (PPL) sessions as requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• At least six months of retail experience.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
