• Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products in correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend bakery or deli items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
• Use all bakery equipment according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods following safety and quality standards.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
• Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
• Check product quality, review 'sell by' dates, and take necessary actions.
• Maintain proper temperatures and logs in cases and coolers.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels, report discrepancies.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Support safety programs and perform equipment inspections.
• Handle customer and employee accidents appropriately.
• Work effectively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Assist diverse customers, including minors, those with special needs, and older adults.
