As an Early Childhood Educator, you will support the Lead Educator within the Pre-Primary Program, utilizing the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework. Your responsibilities include creating engaging learning environments, observing children’s development, and communicating effectively with families to enhance their children's experiences at school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a dynamic, supportive learning environment for children

• Collaborate with the Lead Educator on classroom routines

• Observe and document children’s progress daily

• Communicate openly with families about program offerings

• Implement positive behavior guidance and support social-emotional learning

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education

• Knowledge of child development and play-based pedagogy

• Experience with diverse cultural backgrounds

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Current first aid certification
