Position: Pre-Primary Educator Role at SRCE
Become an Early Childhood Educator at the Strait Regional Centre for Education in Nova Scotia’s Pre-Primary Program. Help promote a supportive environment for children's growth and learning.

The term position runs from September 2026 to June 2027, focusing on the implementation of the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework. Working alongside the Lead Early Childhood Educator, this role emphasizes creating inclusive educational experiences and supporting social-emotional development. You’ll have the opportunity to observe children and tailor the curriculum based on their needs and interests, while fostering family communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish inclusive and supportive learning spaces

• Collaborate with the Lead Educator for effective routines

• Observe and understand children’s individual needs

• Foster relationships with families and caregivers

• Support the implementation of a responsive curriculum

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education

• Familiarity with play-based learning approaches

• Proven experience with diverse populations

• Strong documentation and assessment skills

• Current first aid certification
