Position: Full-Time General Cleaner at R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home
Join R.K. Mac Donald Nursing Home as a Full-Time General Cleaner. This role is vital for ensuring a sanitary and comfortable environment for our residents.

This full-time, temporary role supports a long-term care home with 136 residents. You will be responsible for general housekeeping tasks, operating suggested cleaning equipment, and assisting with laundry duties when required. Work independently and as part of a team while adhering to safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct sweeping, mopping, and waste removal

• Use vacuums and floor polishers effectively

• Help with laundry duties when necessary

• Follow all hygiene and safety protocols

• Report any hazards noticed during cleaning

Requirements:

• Good health with ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Effective communicator, able to follow instructions

• Willingness to learn new equipment operations

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred

• Grade 12 education preferred
