The R.K. Mac Donald Nursing Home is a Long-Term Care Home with 136 Residents and approximately 300 staff in various departments.

LPN from an accredited nursing school/college. Current license with CLPNS (College of Licensed Practical Nurses of NS). Minimum 1-year experience with medication administration. Recent experience in a geriatric setting preferred. Recent experience as team lead or supervisor of CCA staff/equivalent preferred. Current CPR certification required with annual updates and annual WHMIS required. Regular and consistent attendance is essential.

Rotational shifts DDNN. Rotation 12‑hour shifts (7am – 7pm), (7pm – 7am) includes weekend. 80 (bi weekly, paid for breaks).

$30.34 – $35.44/hr (Based on Unifor LPN experience scale)

Health, Dental, Life, LTD (Mandatory) – all others optional.

As per Unifor Contract.
