Position: Probation Officer with Justice Department
Join the Department of Justice as a Probation Officer in Antigonish, NS, and take on the responsibility of guiding community rehabilitation and court compliance. This position is pivotal in supporting positive change for individuals under supervision.

In this role, you'll supervise adolescents and adults within the community corrections framework, ensuring adherence to court decrees. You'll work extensively with an electronic case management system, prepare judicial reports, and respond to individual crises. Key Responsibilities:

• Draft investigative reports requested by the courts

• Ensure court orders are followed through supervision

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree plus one year of relevant experience

• Knowledge of family dynamics and criminal behavior

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Must possess reliable transportation for travel
