The primary role of the Surgical Technician is in the scrub role, providing necessary and appropriate equipment, instrumentation and supplies in the service areas supported by the facility. The Surgical Technician also performs non-clinical activities and other unit tasks as delegated by the Staff RN to support the interdisciplinary care team.Job Description

EDUCATION
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Associate's
- Completion of Surgical Technician training program or prior experience as a Surgical Technician
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- CST-Certified Surgical Technologist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Recent Operating Room experience in an acute care facility in the scrub role.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, ability to work with all levels of nursing personnel and physicians and assist them in a resource capacity, effective English written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range is $42.59 to $53.49 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
