Position Overview: Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families/support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.

Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.

Job Description
:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Department Specific
  
  Experience:
  
  At least 1 year of clinical experience in L&D at an acute care facility.
• Licensures and
  
  Certifications:
  
  Registered Nurse - CA State Licensure (RN) required; BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM certifications required.
• Skills and Knowledge: Ability to discriminate in sound, work with bodily fluids and substances, handle emergency situations, and assist with lifting patients over 200 pounds. OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk).

Pay Range is $77.01 to $104.20 / hour. The salary range may vary based on location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, department needs, and other factors. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.
