RN - Cath Lab

License: California Registered Nurse License

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, NIHSS

Must-Have:

  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Patient ratio experience required
  • Community hospital experience required
  • LTAC experience required
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • Trauma Level II experience preferred
  • Travel experience required

Description:

Cath Lab Registered Nurse needed.

The position requires specific certifications and licenses.

Candidates must possess a valid California CRT License.

ARRT or CCI RCIS/CCI RCES certifications are also acceptable.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

NIHSS certification is also necessary.

The role involves various technical skills and medical procedures.

End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and Activated Clotting Time (ACT) are essential functions.

The nurse will perform angioplasties, central line insertions, and numerous other interventions.

Emergency medication administration is required.

The nurse will need to monitor procedural sedation and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.

Knowledge of infection prevention protocols is critical.

The nurse will be responsible for patient care, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring the highest standards of medical procedures.

A collaborative approach with interdisciplinary support is desired.

Candidates should exhibit strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

This is a full-time position with weekend requirements as necessary.

The nursing staff will need to provide effective care for adults and geriatric patients.

Compliance with all facility policies and procedures is expected.

Appropriate documentation and patient care reporting will be required.

The candidate should be committed to ongoing education and professional development.
