Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS required.
Must-Have:
Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms efficiently.
Recent clinical experience initiating and monitoring various drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Lasix, Insulin, and Heparin required.
Description:
Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
Includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.
Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.
Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that considers psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication.
Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.
Demonstrates general knowledge and competence with respect to nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
Possesses written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
Exhibits time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize patient care.
Works independently as well as part of a team, accomplishing multiple interventions in a changing environment.
Utilizes existing procedures and critical thinking to solve routine or complex problems.
Ensures the privacy of each patient's protected health information.
Builds collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental objectives.
Prioritizes assignments and adheres to standardized policies and procedures to meet deadlines.
