American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of recent experience.
Details- Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week assignment length
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year
- Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, addressing physical, psychosocial, safety, and educational needs
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing peers, physicians, and ancillary support services
- Utilize the nursing process, medical therapeutics, and technology to deliver patient care
- Accepts local candidates at the local rate
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
- Holiday coverage may be required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Returning travelers must have a 1-year separation before reapplying
