American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with active CA licensure and ACLS/BLS certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required
- Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit setting
- Day shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts weekly from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, addressing physical, psychosocial, safety, and educational needs
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing peers, physicians, and ancillary support services
- Utilize the nursing process, medical therapeutics, technology, and personal interventions to deliver care
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
- Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
