A Child’s Place is a licensed child care center seeking an experienced, energetic, and loving Lead Teacher to join our amazing team! If you are passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment — we want to meet you!
What You’ll DoAs a Lead Teacher PreK
you will:
- Create a fun, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports each child’s individual development.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that encourage emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Build strong relationships with families, greeting them warmly each day and keeping them informed about their child’s progress.
- Foster independence and creativity, helping children learn to solve problems, regulate emotions, and respect others.
- Model positive behavior, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Guide Assistant Teachers and Floaters in classroom activities and routines.
- High school diploma required as well as a(CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education Required!).
- Previous child care or preschool teaching experience strongly preferred.
- A warm, positive personality and a genuine love for working with children.
- Dependable, organized, and patient — with great communication skills.
