Accountant - Belfast - £28,000 - £35,000

We are working with a well-established accountancy practice seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio, support junior team members, and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a diverse client base.

• Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, acting as a primary point of contact
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
• Review VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Support clients with tax compliance, including corporation tax and personal tax
• Provide advisory support to clients
• Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing their work and assisting with development
• Ensure deadlines are met, and work is delivered to a high standard

• Fully qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
• 2 - 3 years of experience within an accountancy practice environment is essential
• Strong technical knowledge of UK/ROI accounting standards and tax regulations
• Experience managing client relationships and handling a varied workload
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with accounting software

• £28,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
