Vanrath is partnering with a respected supplier to the construction, surveying, and infrastructure industries to recruit an Office Administrator
. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent scope for responsibility and development within a supportive team.

We are looking for a reliable and organised administrator to be the backbone of our office operations. You will provide key support to both commercial and operational teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the office.
This role suits someone who thrives in a busy environment, can manage competing priorities, and enjoys keeping processes on track while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Working Hours- Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:30 - 15:00 (early finish)
- No weekend work
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to operational and commercial teams
- Act as a point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring professional communication
- Assist management with scheduling, planning, and follow-up tasks
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems, spreadsheets, and files
- Support operational processes, including documentation and basic cost tracking
- Coordinate deliveries, collections, and other logistics with clear communication
- Help organise diaries, meetings, and office activity
- Monitor and chase outstanding tasks to ensure completion
- Identify opportunities to improve office processes and efficiency
- Work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
Essential:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manner
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines confidently
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Desirable:
- Previous experience supporting operations, sales, or service teams
- Exposure to logistics, scheduling, or coordination work
- Background in construction, technical, or trade-related sectors
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other internal systems
- Experience supporting senior management
