Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading client in Newtownabbey to recruit an experienced Hire Administrator/ Receptionist to join their growing team based in Mallusk. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of daily vehicle and trailer hire operations while supporting the continued growth of the business.

- Coordinate and manage the daily vehicle and trailer hire process
- Handle multiple customer enquiries, bookings, deadlines, and operational requirements efficiently
- Prepare accurate hire agreements and supporting documentation
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate hire records and databases
- Follow up on outstanding paperwork, charges, and customer actions
- Welcome customers to the branch and provide assistance upon arrival and departure
- Manage the company switchboard and direct calls professionally
- Liaise with insurance brokers and maintain organised documentation
- Work closely with the Hire and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Scan, file, and maintain records in line with company procedures
- Provide general administrative support as required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an administrative role
- At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines - High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive approach with the ability to see tasks through to completion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Competitive salary of £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
