VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Performance Officer to join a Public Sector business in Antrim on an interim basis. What's in it for you? 37 hours per week Immediate start available Interim contract for c.6 months About your next employer VANRATH are delighted to be working with a very well known public sector organisation in Antrim who are currently recruiting a Financial Performance Officer to join the Finance & Governance department where you will report directly to the Head of Finance.

As a member of the Financial Services Team you will be tasked with contributing to the delivery of the Financial Services Business Plan. This is an interim contract role for 6 months initially, with the potential for extension. Interviewing immediately. About you Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. Finance, or Accountancy Member by examination of CcAB recognised body.

Consideration will be given to candidates who do not hold the above academic qualification but who can demonstrate at least 4 years' relevant experience. What you'll do To control the preparation of revenue and capital estimates to enable the business to agree spending plans. Responsible for ensuring accounting standards are adhered to through setting policies and procedures and providing financial guidance to all levels of management.

Responsible for the calculation of the financial impact of the capital programme on the rates and on the long-term financial strategy. Develop and Produce the Corporate Financial Plan in alignment with the strategic planning process and corporate plan. Conduct financial planning and investment appraisal exercises to provide information to management for planning and decision-making purposes. To participate in post project evaluations of revenue and capital schemes.

Develop the management accounts function systems to ensure that the demands of external and internal reporting are met as effectively and efficiently as possible. Ensure that Management Accounting practices and procedures are in compliance with current legislative requirements and best practice.
