About the Job
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties...
- Process high volumes of purchase invoices, goods received notes and purchase orders.
- Code and enter invoices onto the purchase ledger system.
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations and resolve payment queries.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Assist with VAT returns.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
- Request credit notes and provide general finance administration support.
Previous experience
- 25 years experience in a finance role
- Strong Excel/ Xero experience
- Hold an Accountancy Degree, or Equivalent qualification
