About the company

A highly successful business based in the Antrim area is seeking a Management Accountant to join its established Finance team with this newly created role, reporting into the senior team. This role offers broad exposure across day-to-day finance, making it well suited to qualified, part-qualified or QBE candidates looking to take the next step in their career. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, growing organisation and gain valuable exposure across a busy finance function.

About the job

• Produce monthly management reporting packs and provide clear commentary on financial performance.
• Liaise with external audit teams and support the delivery of the annual audit process.
• Contribute to the preparation and completion of year-end financial statements.
• Review and interpret financial data, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Complete required regulatory submissions, business surveys and corporate filing updates.
• Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting.
• Assist with the introduction and development of a new finance and ERP system.
• Provide financial information and supporting documentation for external funding and grant applications.

About you

• 3 years of experience in preparing management accounts.
• Previous experience in dealing with external auditors.
• Experience in analysing financial accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong computer literacy including modelling with Excel.
