The opportunity
Pneutrol are seeking an experienced and approachable HR Manager to lead our people function and support the continued development of our organisation.
Reporting to the Directors, you will provide practical HR advice to managers and employees, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and help create an inclusive, productive and positive working environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys combining strategic work with hands-on operational support.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clear and commercially focused HR advice to managers and employees.
- Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction processes.
- Advise on employee relations matters, including absence, capability, conduct, grievance and disciplinary cases.
- Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
- Ensure HR practices comply with current employment and equality legislation.
- Support workforce planning, organisational change and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate performance management, learning and development, and succession planning.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
- Promote equality, diversity, inclusion and employee wellbeing.
- Coach managers in effective people-management practices.
- Undertake other reasonable duties consistent with the position.
Person specification
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- A relevant HR qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- At least three years experience in an HR advisory or management position.
- Practical experience of managing employee relations cases.
- Sound knowledge of employment and equality legislation
- Experience of recruitment, policy development and performance management.
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Competence in Microsoft Office

Working Hours & Salary
Monday to Friday 9am 1pm
Salary £21,000 to £26,000 (based on experience)
