Operating from a well-established Antrim site, you'll be part of an experienced team managing complex freight and customs activities, with a clear focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

• Solid experience in freight forwarding operations across multiple modes (air, ocean, road)
• Working knowledge of customs procedures and documentation, especially post-Brexit Northern Ireland requirements
• Confident communication with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle change under pressure
• Proficient in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office
• Mentoring or supporting junior colleagues is a plus
• Relevant qualification in international trade, logistics, or supply chain management is desirable

• Manage end-to-end freight shipments across air, ocean, and road, including complex and time-sensitive movements
• Serve as the key point of contact for major customers, providing timely updates throughout the shipment process
• Prepare and verify customs documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas partners to book and track shipments
• Generate quotes, price jobs, and monitor profit margins while seeking opportunities for efficiencies
• Resolve shipment delays and other issues promptly, escalating when necessary
• Support and mentor junior team members within the operations team
• Maintain accurate records and produce reports on operational activities
• Adhere to quality standards, including AEO compliance, and contribute to ongoing process improvements
