Senior Contracts Manager - Housing

Location: Antrim

The CSR Group a recruiting on behalf of one of Northern Irelands leading house building contractors. This company, based in Co. Antrim are currently building approx. 300 units per year and have a number of new developments in the pipeline. Due to this continual growth they have identified the need for a Senior Contracts Manager to come into the business.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be the main representative for the company, overseeing a team of Contracts Managers and in turn the site teams below them, you will be expected to have extensive local knowledge of sub-contractors, suppliers and contacts throughout the area. You will also be required to have detailed commercial knowledge of the house building industry Highly attractive salary and package on offer along with career progression into a more senior role.

Criteria Ability to deliver projects on time and to perfection Demonstrable record of successfully delivering multiple Housing (Private and Social) Projects valued £4M+

Experience of planning and monitoring project programmes to budgets and resources ensuring delivery to time and cost constraints IT and standard industry software skills Ambitious and self-motivated Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients

Experience of managing and developing a team Duties Reporting to Managing Director Manage and motivate site teams Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets Preparing and monitoring work programmes to deliver projects to deadlines Responsibility for maintaining excellent client relationships Providing specialist technical leadership
