Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday to Thursday 6.00am - 4.00pm)

Reports to: Maintenance and Masa Supervisor

The following list constitutes the key tasks and duties of your post upon which your job performance will be assessed. Tasks are not in any order; therefore, the sequence which they appear should not be interpreted as indicating priority or relative importance.

• Gain operational knowledge and be proficient in operation of the wet side area. This includes understanding all relevant systems, controls, and procedures associated with the wet side area to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to continuously improve wet side operations and support troubleshooting efforts when required.
• Carry out mould changes on brick and paving production equipment in accordance with company procedures, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and minimising downtime. Accurately set up, secure, and align moulds to guarantee product quality and consistency. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve any issues during mould changeover, and ensure tools and parts are cleaned and stored properly after each change.
• Address faults as they arise, elevate significant issues to the appropriate personnel, and follow all safety and environmental protocols associated with plant operations.
• Perform regular cleaning of equipment and machinery to maintain optimal performance and prevent build-up of dust, debris, or product residue.
• Operate forklifts as required, provided the appropriate license is held.
• Ensure that workplace cleanliness is maintained and adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols. Take personal responsibility for your own well-being and promptly report any concerns as required by company policy.
• Proactively seek and suggest ideas for improvement - whether related to health and safety, business processes, or cost-saving measures - and report them as a 'Good Catch'.
