Area Sales Manager, Capital Equipment and Material Handling £35,000 to £45,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission and a company car Accomplish Today is recruiting an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive new business growth and manage key accounts within a defined territory, selling capital equipment and material handling solutions to business to business customers. Our client is a market leading organisation in the capital equipment sector, supplying industrial and material handling equipment to companies across the United Kingdom.

This is a genuine opportunity to take full ownership of a territory rather than simply managing a patch handed down from someone else. Candidates with a background at organisations such as Toyota Material Handling, Jungheinrich, Crown Equipment, Linde Material Handling, STILL United Kingdom, Hyster Yale or Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks would be particularly well suited to this role, though experience across any capital equipment or material handling supplier is welcome.

What You Will Be Doing Identifying, targeting and winning new business to business clients who need capital equipment and material handling solutions Managing and growing existing customer accounts to maximise revenue and long term value Delivering consultative, solution led sales presentations of industrial equipment and material handling solutions Conducting site surveys and operational assessments to identify what each client actually needs Preparing and presenting commercial proposals and quotations to key decision makers Negotiating pricing, terms and contracts to drive profitable growth Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to order placement Maintaining accurate customer relationship management records, pipeline management and sales forecasting Monitoring competitor activity and market trends across capital equipment, material handling and industrial sectors What You Will Bring A proven track record in territory sales, new business development and account management A strong background in business to business sales, industrial equipment or material handling solutions
