We're recruiting a Security Team Leader to oversee a team of Protection Officers supporting a prestigious client within the Aviation & Manufacturing sector. This is a hands‑on leadership role, responsible for delivering a safe, secure and resilient manufacturing environment while maintaining exceptional service standards.

You’ll lead by example, manage day‑to‑day operations, and play a key role in incident response, team performance and client satisfaction.

• Lead and support the on‑site security team, ensuring effective resourcing and absence management
• Maintain agreed service levels and elevate risks or issues to the Operations Manager
• Build strong working relationships with the client and internal stakeholders
• Oversee security operations including access control, patrols, control room and CCTV activity
• Take a leadership role during security, safety and emergency incidents
• Monitor officer performance, addressing low‑level issues in line with company processes
• Manage training requirements and compliance records for the team
• Support employment relations matters on site as required
• Ensure all site instructions, policies and procedures are followed
• Promote Mitie's values, professionalism and a strong safety culture

You'll Complete Mandatory And Specialist Training Including

First Aid (FREC
3), fire safety, aviation security, control room and CCTV operations, spill response and emergency procedures.

• Ensure compliance with all company and client H&S policies
• Report hazards, incidents and equipment defects promptly
• Promote safe working practices and correct use of PPE

• Proven experience in a security leadership or supervisory role
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (CCTV licence or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport
• Right to work in the UK with 5-year checkable background
• British nationality or 5 years UK residency (CTC clearance requirement)
