Job Title:
Warehouse and Trade Counter Supervisor – Antrim
Reporting To:
Sales Manager
Purpose:
This position holds responsibility for the day to day running of the
warehouse and trade counter.
Pneutrol International Limited are a family-owned company who deliver
high-quality bespoke control systems mainly for the concrete industry.
- Processing orders inwards and outwards
- Manage day to day running of the warehouse and trade counter
- Procurement – placing purchase orders with suppliers for products and services
- Ensuring efficient and accurate dispatch of orders to customers
- Inventory / stock management via the Sage system to ensure adequate and optimum levels
- Management of couriers to ensure efficient collection and delivery
- Maintenance of the store, trade counter and packing room
- Effective control of receiving area
- Provide excellent customer service on the phone and at the trade counter
- Ensure process and systems are continually reviewed and improved where possible
- Strong customer service and customer relationship management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate warehouse and trade counter activities.
- Inventory and stock control management skills.
- Procurement and supplier management skills.
- Ability to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Competent IT skills, including experience using stock control (Sage) systems.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Warehouse operations and stock management processes.
- Goods inward and outward procedures.
- Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes.
- Understanding of customer service best practice.
- Knowledge of courier and logistics coordination.
- Knowledge of industrial or pneumatic products (desirable).
- Professional and approachable manner.

- Warehouse and trade counter experience essential.
- Previous experience coordinating warehouse operations desirable.
- Experience of stock control and inventory management essential.
- Experience using Sage or similar stock management/ERP systems desirable.
- Experience placing purchase orders and dealing with suppliers.
- Experience with industrial component sales advantageous.
- Valid driving licence essential.
- Forklift licence preferred.
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday)
