POSITION: Project Manager - Earthwork/Civil Site Work - Experience with Solar Farms

LOCATION:

Apache Junction, Arizona

Job Summary

Provide overall management direction for existing projects and develop new business opportunities related to a specific client, group of clients, geographical area, or project type.

Responsibilities
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.
  • Monitor and control construction through on-site supervision to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Plan, organize, and staff key field positions.
  • Investigate serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and assist in labor strategy discussions.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and A/E contacts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Complete other directives as assigned.
  • Maintain an insurable driving record.
    • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience with Solar Farms preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of Heavy Civil Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assume responsibility and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and HCSS.
