Field Mechanic

LOCATIONS:
Throughout Arizona - Some out of state travel might be required.

• Perform major and minor repairs on equipment.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment, trucks and trailers.
• Maintain parts inventory and accurate records of repairs performed on equipment.
• Ability to stand for a long period of time.
• Determine equipment condition by conducting inspection and diagnostic test to identify worn and damaged parts.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment available for use.
• Verify equipment performance by operating equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by OSHA, MSHA and company policy.
• Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Takes instruction well from management – includes the ability to demonstrate attention to detail, active listening skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Must be able to work in a field and shop environment with little to no supervision.
• Must be able to work in all degrees of weather.
• Must put SAFETY first by adhering to all safety rules.
