The Role
This position works directly with our CEO and owns the company's marketing, social media, advertising, and internal communications. The remaining 20% is executive support to the CEO, including scheduling, correspondence, and special projects

Marketing & Communications Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and publish content for Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, and other channels, including project spotlights, safety milestones, recruiting posts, and company culture.

  • Manage paid advertising for recruiting and business development, including digital ads, trade publications, and sponsor ships, and track results against budget.
  • Maintain and update the company website with current projects, capabilities, and job openings.
  • Develop client-facing materials such as capability statements, project case studies, proposals support, brochures, and trade show displays.
  • Work with the CEO to write and produce messages for employees, including newsletters, video updates, announcements, and recognition programs.
  • Plan and run company events such as safety awards, holiday parties, employee appreciation events, client events, and community or charity involvement.
  • Coordinate branded apparel, signage, vehicle graphics, and promotional items.
  • Manage outside vendors such as photographers, printers, web developers, and agencies as needed.
  • Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, presentations, and reports on the CEO's behalf.
  • Prepare materials for leadership meetings, client meetings, and board or partner meetings.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Take on special projects as assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–7 years of experience in marketing or communications, ideally in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or B2B.
  • A strong portfolio showing social media content, writing samples, and photo or video work.
  • Hands-on skills with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, basic video editing, and social media scheduling tools.
  • Experience running paid social or digital ad campaigns.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Excellent writing skills and the judgment to write in the CEO's voice.
  • Highly organized, able to juggle deadlines and shift priorities without losing track of details.
  • Comfortable on active job sites and able to work around industrial environments while wearing required PPE.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Word Press or similar website platforms.
  • Drone photography certification (FAA Part 107).
  • Familiarity with construction terminology, safety culture, or the trades.
  • Experience supporting a CEO or senior executive.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based, with regular visits to job sites and occasional travel within Arizona.
  • Some evening or weekend work for company events.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (event setup, camera equipment) and walk on uneven terrain at job sites.

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
