As a Security Officer in the East Valley, you will respond to emergency situations, help to provide safety and security for patients and visitors, you will patrol service areas including the grounds, and provide alarm monitoring and response.
** We currently have openings for DAY and NIGHT shifts. As a Security Officer in this role, you will be expected to provide security services to any of our East valley location including Banner Desert, Banner Ironwood and Banner Goldfield. Our team works 12 hours shifts (for both days and nights), including an 18%-night shift differential when you work a minimum of 2 hours in the night shift “window” which is 7pm to 7am.

SHIFTS:

**** Shift A: (Sun-Wed)
** Sunday - Tuesday 6:00am - 6:00pm, then ½ Wednesday 6:00am - 12:00 noon
** Shift B: (Wed-Sat)** ½ Wednesday 12:00 noon - 6:00pm, then Thursday - Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm
** NIGHT

SHIFTS:

**** Shift C: (Sun-Wed)
** Sunday - Tuesday 6:00pm - 6:00am, then ½ Wednesday 6:00pm - 12:00 midnight
** Shift D: (Wed-Sat**) ½ Wednesday 12 midnight - 6:00am, then Thursday - Saturday 6:00pm-6:00am   Night Shift includes an 18% differential - (usually about $3+ p/h difference)
** Successful candidates will be physically fit and able to maintain sufficient physical fitness to successfully pass the functional capacity evaluation (FCE), which includes completing 48 steps and 20 squat thrusts in under 2 minutes.

POSITION SUMMARY  This position patrols the facilities and grounds; assists with the welfare and safety of personnel and patients; investigates critical incidents; assists employees, patients and visitors; interfaces with emergency response agencies; secures doors; monitors parking and traffic control. Performs assigned security duties promptly and accurately. Works varied assignments and shifts.

2. Responds to all emergency codes for assistance and control. Patrols and inspects facility frequently to assist in maintaining a safer and more secure environment.
