Volunteer - Youth Sports Coach

Position Overview

Positions in this class lead a youth sports team through practices and games. Officiate teams and games as needed. This is a volunteer position and does not offer any compensation.

Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week, or as assigned.

Days of Work Week:
Monday through Saturday.

Hours:

Weekday evenings and weekend days.

16 years of age and older.

Various Sports Facilities.

• Previous experience and knowledge of sports coaching is desired; mandatory training will be provided.
• Volunteers eighteen (18) years of age or older who are accepted for the assignment will mindestens müssen erfolgreich einen Strafregisterbericht erfolgreich abschließen.
• Communicate clearly and concisely (both verbally and in writing).
• Knowledge of City and department procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Convey a positive, friendly attitude, work pleasantly with staff, patrons, and other volunteers.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions, policies, and procedures; receive instruction from Parks and Rec staff.
• Work congenially with staff, patrons, and other volunteers.
• Ability to lift and move objects as needed.
