In the course, migrant parents with adolescent children work on themes surrounding parental involvement in school. When children go to secondary school, a lot changes and how do you stay informed as a parent.
The Da Capo Foundation supports migrant women in better integrating and participating in society. We offer language lessons in groups, a language café, social activities and all kinds of courses with specific themes such as labor market orientation, health, participation in the neighborhood and parental involvement.
ActivitiesAs a volunteer in the parental involvement course, you support the language teacher. The parents who participate receive language lessons, but will learn many things about parental involvement. About daily matters that change when your child becomes an adolescent, but also about school matters. How can you, as a parent, stay involved in school work? How do you know what your child should do?
How do you know how things are going? How can you contact the school and who?

We offerGrateful work, nice colleagues, working for a friendly organization, an insight into language lessons
