Are you looking for a new challenge? Meaningful use of time in a social organization? And do you have experience or affinity with finance? Then we are looking for you!

The Neighbors Foundation is an interdenominational volunteer organization. We offer care and aftercare to (former) detainees upon their return to society. By visiting (former) detainees or offering help at the reintegration center in the PI, individual counseling of (former) detainees is very effective. It increases the chance of proper rehabilitation and thus minimizes a relapse to crime. We are active in the Stedendriehoek region (Zutphen, Apeldoorn, Deventer) and Achterhoek.

• Manage the foundation’s account.
• Create the annual financial plan or budget.
• Write the annual financial report and monitor the budget.
• Think along and show initiative with regard to fundraising and subsidy applications.
• Have an affinity with our target group.
• Preferably have knowledge of church and social networks.
• Collaborate with other board members and the coordinator of the Neighborhood Foundation.
• Be available to attend meetings 1x per 8 weeks and other administrative activities.

• Experience how valuable it is to work for our target group.
• Get the space to share or broaden your own experiences and knowledge.
• Attend the volunteer meetings.
