Coach Own Place
Provide weekly coaching to a young person who needs that extra push to be able to live independently.
Een Eigen Plek is a 2-year pilot in which Stimenz and a number of cooperation partners give young people (18 to 23 years old) the opportunity to live independently in a safe environment, together with others. Within an 'Eigen Plek', Stimenz focuses on young people who just need that extra push to be able to live independently. Three young people live in the house under the watchful eye of a main resident.
This main resident is a volunteer at Stimenz and is the first point of contact in the house.
- As a coach you are firmly in your shoes and do not shy away from a spicy conversation
- You are decisive and seek connection with young people
- You are able to communicate clearly and maintain an overview
- You are available 1 to 2 hours a week
- You like to work with young people with complex backgrounds
- You personally plan weekly coaching moments with the young person. One week this can take an hour and a half, the other week an app back and forth may be sufficient
- Drawing up and elaborating a personal development plan, together with the young person
- Contribute to the further development of this project; this pilot has already been running for one of the two years, which means that it will be evaluated in one year's time, the input of the coaches is greatly appreciated
- Personal support by a Stimenz professional
- A challenging environment to further develop your skills as a coach
- Space to contribute ideas in the (further) development of the pilot
