Senior Platform Engineer

Build the core of Mind Relay, our observability platform that monitors mission-critical video and broadband infrastructure for operators worldwide.

• Design and evolve the Mind Relay platform architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and observability
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines that process millions of events per day from multi-vendor environments
• Own the platform runtime:
  Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
• Collaborate with operations teams to translate monitoring requirements into platform capabilities
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical decision-making within the team
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident post-mortems

• 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go
• Experience with event streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container‑based deployments
• Solid understanding of observability concepts: metrics, logs, traces
• Experience with time‑series databases (Influx
  
  DB, Timescale
  
  DB, or similar)
• Fluent in English;
  Dutch is a plus

• Experience in telecom, IPTV, or broadcast environments
• Familiarity with SNMP, MPEG monitoring, or video QoE metrics
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or similar observability stacks
• Contributions to open‑source projects
