Activities

The work consists of making and checking routes in advance of the 4‑day. During the event, the course builders set out the routes with arrows and pick them up again at the end of the day. A mountain bike is made available for this. GPS trackers are used to plot the routes. You will receive guidance for this. The routes are plotted in loops.

The course builders are divided into groups of +/- 3 people. As a group you will be responsible for a loop of the route of +/- 10 km.

Already in early spring we start checking routes.

Sporty volunteers who don’t mind getting up early during the 4 days, love nature and like to cycle in the woods.

During the four days a daily allowance of € 15.00 is paid.

Any expenses incurred in the preliminary phase will be reimbursed.

A meeting will be held prior to the four-day event.

After the four days a nice thank‑you volunteer evening.

The Cantharel International Four Days Marches Apeldoorn has been organized by the International Four Days Marches Apeldoorn Foundation since 2015 and is entirely in the hands of volunteers.
