An employee in this position interprets and enforces construction codes through inspections of infrastructure for residential and commercial developments. Inspects water and sewer lines, streets, driveways, sidewalks, curb and gutter, storm drainage, and stormwater control measures devices and related items. Reviews construction plans, meets with contractors to review specifications and requirements, inspects construction in progress and upon completion for adherence to approved plans and specifications.
This position also oversees chlorination of new water lines, of concrete, and GPS locating and mapping.
This position reports to the Infrastructure Inspections Manager.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
