At The Learning Experience, We have designed a curriculum around the six stages of development and built a foundation for all kids to learn, play, and grow in our state‑of‑the‑art facilities under the care of nurturing teachers and staff.
Position OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated, creative, and positive Preschool Teacher to join our team. Our hours of operation are from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. 8‑hour shifts. We are looking to hire a full‑time Teacher for our center. In this position, you will be working with children from 1 year of age to 2 years old.
Responsibilities- Working with children on art, sign language, helping them express themselves, leading story time, etc.
- Be positive, energetic, and upbeat with the children as you guide them through the day.
- Providing feedback to the parents about their child's day.
- Being a creative teacher, who enjoys working with young children!
- Previous experience teaching and working with children in any setting
- A great personality
- Good work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred:
Two‑year degree (in a child related field) or higher / Has EDU 119 - Preferred CPR & First Aid Certification
- Preferred ITS / SIDS Training Certification
- Able to interact with Students of all ages and development levels.
- Credentials I & II, or CDA preferred
Full‑time
Salary: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule- 8‑hour shift
- Overtime
Our preschool center will be practicing all the health care tool kit guidelines according to the state of NC.
Education- Associate (Preferred)
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Staff will receive a bonus of $250 for a completion of 90 exact days of employment

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
